Michael Wakshull, Q9 Consulting, is a forensic document examiner based in Temecula, California. He works on both criminal and civil cases which require authentication of documents. His cases have stood up in courts. Many cases are settled after the opposing side receives the results of Mike’s examination of the evidence.
As an adjunct instructor of project management at multiple universities, Mike uses his forensic experience to stimulate the learning and critical thinking of his students. He has authored and presented four seminars approved by the State Bar of California for minimum continuing legal education.
He has presented original research in handwriting identification at international forensics conferences. He is president of the San Diego Chapter of Forensic Expert Witness Association and a member of the National Speakers Association.
Mike holds a graduate school certificate in forensic document examination, a master’s degree in technology management and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He managed information systems governance and corporate quality risk management for a large biotechnology company and implemented global risk management procedures for a large medical device company.
